Did Lily ever hookup with any of the other companions and what factions did she work with before arriving to Nuka World?
Was she the typical civilian (minuteman type) and got corrupted by the wasteland/enticed by the raiders of Nuka World or was she always a little Neutral Evil?
Sorry if this is a bit of a long ask I'm just curious 😂
Never apologize for a long ask!! I love in depth questions like this!! I really loved this ask and was so excited I had to answer this the moment I saw it!! This answer is super long btw! I couldn't JUST answer these questions, I had to give you a full history of my OC.
So I have been thinking of Lilly's story for a long time, along with her character development. She is originally based on my evil Overboss playthrough of Fallout 4 where I completely ignore the main story LOL. I get to Nuka World as soon as possible by leveling up, mostly by doing Good Neighbor and Cabot family/Edward Deegan missions.
So Lilly's story isn't quite set in stone! But my main idea so far is that she is pre-war. Lilly does come from Vault 111 but she isn't the mother of Shaun and isn't the Sole Survivor. That's her brothers problem, who gets out of the vault a few days before she does. He goes one way, using his military training and desire for revenge to survive, becoming the leader of the minutemen(or he joins the Brotherhood. Maybe both?? idk yet) Meanwhile Lilly escapes Vault 111 and goes a completely different direction.
The vault is picked clean, and the body's of her brother and nephew are missing, while her sister in laws corpse has a bullet in her skull. Lilly finds no sign of her brother, and doesn't search too hard either. She leaves the vault, avoiding the neighborhood of Sanctuary and the possible people that lived there, their campfires burning brightly in the night only deterring her away.
Lilly's pre-war life wasn't military like her brothers. She was a "no good hippie" who was between jobs and staying with her brother and his wife until she "got back on her feet," Her brother took her in. In return she would help her PTSD stricken brother and his depressed wife take care of their brand new infant son.
Lilly was seen as no good to most in the pre irradiated world. She had been a part of the large underground punk scene in Boston, becoming a disgrace to her family and a nuisance towards the police. Her life had always been chaos, never knowing quite what she wanted to do as she jumped from job to job trying to keep money in her pocket that was instantly spent on drugs and lipstick.
Lilly doesn't even spare a second glance at the vault or neighborhood as she heads into the wasteland. She is more than prepared to leave her old life behind in the ashes of the old world, so she immediately finds a change of clothes, some chems, and heads towards Boston. She doesn't know why Boston, maybe just morbid curiosity of what the city had turned into. Maybe in search for drugs and answers to why she was still living. Her mindset is that of a depressed addict. Nothing on her mind but that next hit that would bring her that sweet rush of endorphins.
She enters the world with little to no knowledge. She can fight decently with her fists and switchblade, pick locks, run her mouth and hardly shoot a gun. She has a rough time getting to Boston, the weirdly smart German Shepherd she finds at a gas station, and lovingly names Dogmeat, helps her survive her first few weeks in the wasteland.
Soon she finds herself in Boston, and like all drifters, she quickly finds herself in Goodneighbor. She immediately sees the potential in the city and in its mob boss ghoul mayor. Lilly and Hancock quickly become romantically involved. (She is def fucking Maccready in secret too. But RJ is nothing more than some fun to her. She also has a fling with Edward Deegan who she also meets in Goodneighbor when he comes offering a job.)
In my au Hancock is a bit darker and mob boss like, Lilly corrupting him slightly. She helps clean up the city, both metaphorically and physically. She wipes the triggermen out, and takes down Marowski. Long story short they take over his chem empire and become the main chem bosses and suppliers of the commonwealth. They build Goodneigbor into an empire. Her charisma and luck are incredibly high, making it all the easier for her.
John teaches Lilly about the Commonwealth, about proper fighting and weapons. She gains as much knowledge as she can about the new world, settling into the line of leadership and manipulation well. But John wants something real and long term. He loves her, but Lilly doesn't love him in return. He has big ideas for the future, from helping synths to building supply lines to marrying her. Lilly doesn't share the same feelings or ambitions, so she leaves.
She takes her knowledge and weapons of the new world and leaves Goodneighbor without warning and without a trace. She disappears yet again into the wasteland until the best thing to ever happen to her since finding Dogmeat happens. She finds Nuka World and meets Porter Gage. Or maybe he finds her instead?? I don't quite have how they meet picked out yet but I have some ideas!
So yes, Lilly has always been a bit evil! She had a few loose screws in the beginning and the Cryo pod only made it worse. She is corrupted before the bombs, but the wasteland corrupts her further and further. By the time she reaches Nuka World she is already a pretty bad person who is scarred inside and out. Meeting and joining the raiders only corrupt her further. Gage actually helps her get clean and off of chems, but she does get a little crazier. But she couldn't be happier. Porter Gage and Nuka World become her lifeline.
Gage does change her for the better. Lilly finally able to commit to things in her life for once, like her romantic relationship with Gage and job as Overboss.
Fun fact: I actually named Lilly after my evil five pound toy poodle. Lilly is a grumpy old bitch of a dog. She is my whole entire world but she has some screws loose for sure.
So the short answer: Yes! She does hook up with other companions, but only John Hancock and RJ maccready. She also sleeps with Edward Deegan, having a short fling with him. All of these relationships are nothing compared to what she has with Porter Gage, their bond being actual love. Lilly is factionless, choosing to go her own way entirely. She becomes a mob boss before completely ditching that life and disappearing on the irradiated wind before finding Nuka World. Starting over with yet another new life. Lilly is a bit evil from the beginning, but the wasteland does corrupt her further.

I decided to do my Fallout 4 Nuka World Overboss OC, Lilly! Paired with my favorite, Porter Gage. I did a short drabble!
Reunited
Read on AO3 here! https://archiveofourown.org/works/49325812/chapters/147352036
or just read below!
It had been two weeks and three days since Gage had last seen Lilly, and he was more than anxious for her return. He and Lilly had left on a bit of a rough note, all because Gage didn’t want Lilly to go out on her own.
She had been preparing for this little trip to the Commonwealth for a while now, explaining carefully that he couldn’t come, it was something that she had to handle alone. He had gotten agitated at being told to stay behind. He and Lilly had hardly been separated since she became overboss about ten months ago. She could handle herself well, but his nerves still spiked at the thought of her out there alone. They had argued about it, Lilly trying to convince Gage by telling him that Dogmeat would keep her safe. Her attempt at calming his nerves only made Gage more irate. Gage knew Dogmeat was a protective and vicious companion, but he wasn’t invincible.
But she won anyway. Gage was left standing at the gate of Nukaworld, fuming as he watched Lilly ride off into the wasteland on her favorite horse, that dog of hers hot on their heels. Gage’s lips still tingled from her goodbye kiss, the taste of her lipstick sweet on his lips. His heart strained as he watched her, the sun just barely peeking over the Appalchian mountains. Then she was gone, slipping into the darkness of the shadows. Porter heaved a sigh before making his way back to Fizztop.
Now Porter Gage sat inside the old Fizztop Grille restaurant that he and Lilly had turned into a nice home. They had dragged out most of the tables and chairs, only leaving a few alongside the work benches. Their bed was up on a small platform, right next to an armor workbench and power armor station that was holding the Nuka T-51 power armor. It was purely for decoration and for holding Lilly’s magnet collection, Lilly and Gage both not fans of the clunky suit. Power armor always made Gage sweat and feel claustrophobic, and Lilly hated it because her agility in the suit was awful.
The old restaurant had really become a home, even the mutt had his own corner with a soft fluffy bed and plenty of chew toys. Lilly had decorated the walls with everything from old paintings to animal skulls, a few even human. They had removed all of Colter’s “decorations” and cleaned up the place real nice.
They had more storage than they knew what to do with, trunks, boxes, and dressers full of items scattered around the room. Most boxes were full of scrap or junk waiting to become scrap. Gage and Lilly went through a lot of scrap, using it to constantly repair their armor and weapons.
Soft colorful rugs scattered the room. Lilly had learned pretty quickly that the floor got freezing cold in the wintertime, and that the rugs saved them from cold feet on chilly mornings. Gage thought they looked silly and frilly, but he wouldn’t dare complain to his peculiar pre-war love. A massive quilt that Lilly had made herself covered the large bed. They even had comfy pillows. Lilly really enjoyed creature comforts like softness when she could have it, not that Gage was complaining about the soft blankets or running water. He hadn’t lived this well in his whole life, and he had a beautiful woman to share it with.
The old kitchen had been cleaned up and was a kitchen again, the fridge laying face down in the middle of the floor with the back panel ripped off. Getting the old fridge to work, along with some other appliances was on Gage’s extremely long list of shit to fix.
Gage sat at one of his work benches, his attention entirely focused on the baseball bat in front of him. He was trying to turn one of Lilly’s many colorful “killing bats” into a spiked rocket bat. Getting the nails in had been the easy part, the rocket mechanism giving Gage a little trouble.
The radio was playing loudly, redeye rambling about who gives a fuck. Gage just had it on for the noise, the sound and tinkering keeping him busy and from stressing over Lilly. Redeye was loud, but not loud enough for Gage to not hear the patio door open quietly and shut softly. Gage pretended like he didn’t hear a thing, waiting for the footsteps to get closer. He dropped his hands from his tools to under the table, his hand finding one of the half dozen guns that were duct taped to the underside of the table.
Suddenly a familiar wet nose nudged at his hand, Gage looking down to see a very happy Dogmeat. He let out a sigh of relief and removed his hand from the gun, patting Dogmeat on the head. The mutt was wagging his tail so hard his body wiggled, Lucy giggling from behind Gage at the dog. “Someone missed you.” She cooed, laughing as the dog picked up his front feet repeatedly in excitement, looking like he was doing a little dance.
Gage rubbed the dog behind his ears before he stood up and turned to look at Lilly. “You made it back!” He spoke, his eyes roving over her fit form to see she looked a little worse for wear. She looked exhausted, her bright pink hair and freckled skin filthy with the dirt and grime of the wasteland. Her dark eye makeup was smeared and running down her face, her red lipstick long gone. The bags under her eyes were large, exhaustion pulling at Lilly’s sore muscles, causing her perfect posture to falter as she slouched her shoulders under the heavy weight of tiredness. The bounty hunter duster and road leathers she wore were a bit tattered, but otherwise she seemed to be in one piece.
“I told you he’d protect me.” She grinned, approaching Gage with open arms. “Yeah yeah yeah.” Gage grumbled, giving the dog one last pat before pulling Lilly into a tight hug. Her exhausted body relaxed against his warmth, his large chest a great pillow for her head. He rested his chin atop her head, his hands gently rubbing her back. He breathed her in, that sweet smell of her usual perfumes and scents slightly masked by the smell of the wasteland. She reeked like radiation and sweat, that metal smell lingering on her clothes
They just stood there for a moment, holding one another. All of the stress disappeared from Gage now that she was back in his arms. Sometimes he’d get into his head about her; sometimes he felt that she was way too good for him and that one day she’d get the sense to leave him. But here she was, back in his arms.
When she looked up, Gage ran his thumb along her bottom lip, feeling the large cut that swiped down her lip to her chin. When she flinched away he moved his hand to cup her face, “What mess did you get yourself into darlin’?” He frowned. Lilly just shrugged one of her shoulders and leaned into his touch, “Nothing Dogmeat and I couldn’t handle.” The weak smile she gave him said otherwise. Gage rolled his eyes at her, his thumb wiping a smear of dirt from her cheek. He could tell Lilly was exhausted and bruised up, and in desperate need of a bath and a good night's sleep.
Gage pulled her into a soft kiss lingering kiss, pulling away when Lilly tried to take it a step forward. “As much as I’ve missed you baby,” He drawled, grabbing Lilly’s hand, “I can tell you need a rest.” Lilly let out a sigh but nodded in agreement, “Yeah I do. That and a shower. I’m gross.”
He gave her hand a gentle tug, a smirk on his face. “Yeah you are, you stink.” He faked disgust, Lilly huffing and shoving at his shoulder. Lilly rolled her eyes when the solid wall of muscle didn’t budge, “No worse than you.” He mocked her dramatic eye roll and pulled her towards the bathroom. “Then c’mon.”
Lilly let out a bemused huff and followed Gage to their bathroom, allowing him to take care of her.

First face to face meeting with Porter Gage
Here's a little tidbit of Lilly and Gage meeting;
Lilly stared at the dirty raider in front of her, finally getting a real look at the man who was asking her to make a huge decision. He was a big man, standing slightly taller than her. He was armorless, standing before her in just a dirty green tank top and leather pants that drew Lilly’s attention like a moth to a flame. Lilly noticed his muscles before she did his eyepatch, her eyes focused on the way his muscular thighs flexed under the tight leather as he shifted his feet. Lilly tried not to linger her attention on his crotch, her eyes drifting from the bulge in his pants up to his stomach and chest. His tank top was tight, showing off his defined stomach and chest. His arms were huge, the toned muscles flexing and bulging as he crossed his arms over his chest. Finally, her eyes locked with his one. She was a bit surprised by his handsome face, his five o'clock shadow, along with smears of dirt and grease, accenting his sharp jawline and high cheekbones. The one eye she could see was a deep hazel-green, his intelligence shining through. He had a dark bag under his eye, exhaustion lingering behind his tough guy mask. His other eye was hidden under an ugly eyepatch, an old jagged scar peaking out past the edges.
He had clearly lived a typical hard wastelander life, the skin she could see was littered with the mangled lines and splotches of many scars, many of which looked like cigarette burns and bullet holes. A small scar was faded into the sun-kissed skin of his nose, his nose crooked from what looked like multiple old breaks that were set improperly or not at all. His hair was crudely cut into a short mohawk, the hair uneven and clearly self cut. The corner of his eye crinkled slightly with crows feet, deep frown lines set around his mouth and forehead. His mouth was thin and twisted in a frown, the large scar on his chin pulling slightly in the expression. He looked like he could potentially ruin her life, but with the way those leather pants fit she didn’t really care. It was a risk she was more than ready to take.
